Best mom EVER!

I know that there are a few of you that think you are going to get mother of the year. I mean, Sarah has the coolest blog in town and Amber Lindemann runs a successful business while being a kick ass mom. Holly just brought another Farley male into the world, god help her. I personally think I have got them ALL beat.

Okay, I thought that I was doing really good. It had been a couple of weeks since Hayden had started crawling. So far, we only had a few minor spills, until last Saturday. Hank and Emily went to Centralia to get yet another boat. Yes, we now have 2 boats in our garage. I haven't lost my mind, the newest edition is only a borrower. Anyway, back to the original story. Hayden and I were having a great time at home; cuddling, playing, eating. I decided to clean the kitchen, when it happened. Hayden crawled into the kitchen to see me and was deterred by the STAIRCASE! Next thing I hear is him crying all the way down to the basement floor. I had forgot to close the door behind me after carrying laundry down. I had that instant sick feeling. I picked him up and immediately looked him over. All I could find was a few rug burns on his leg and a huge bump on his left eye. Needless to say, we didn't go to the weekly Baltzell family dinner on Sunday, I didn't want to answer all the questions about what, why, and how it happened. I know that this is only the beginning.

Are there any other nominations for this prestigious award?

My dream came true.

So, soon after Hayden started crawling, he started to REALLY enjoy shoes and shoe strings. One day, I was watching TV when I saw Hayden with somthing in his mouth, looking as proud as he could be. It was mud off of Hanks work boots. It was actually mud and soot, great diet for the gut. Hank reminded me that I always wanted a kid who would just eat dirt; be a normal kid.

Hayden is MOBILE

Hayden started crawling around Thanksgiving. It was like he was instantly a curious toddler, looking to get into anything.

Emily's first masterpieces

Emily got a Fisher-Price digital camera for her birthday. I would recommend it to anyone, she had figured out how to use it by the time the party was over. Here are a few of her first masterpieces.

Her most artsy, the sky. Notice the telephone lines and trees

Hank, Hayden, and many pals.

Hayden

Emily trying to play with Dalton on Thanksgiving. Hayden chilln in his bouncy seat. Man he loves this thing.
Emily dressed herself, she is so proud of herself. It doesnt look that bad, until you get to the socks and shoes.

Hayden and Hank, watching TV after dinner.

Hayden is such a joy to be around, he just wants to eat. Compared to Emily, he is so easy going. Here are a few newer pictures of them both.

I am a bad blogger

I havent blogged in a month, but I got on to Sarah Sez and poof, she once again inspired me. Thanks again Sarah, you remind me of the important things in my life.

For Thanksgiving, Hank's grandparents came up from southern Illinois. I took a picture of Hank's grandpa Billy, his dad Dick, Hayden and Hank. Its four generations of Williams. I am really glad that I have it.

A new addition to our family

Tonight late, Emily came in to the living room and asked for juice for Austin. Now, we don't have a Austin in our family, we have a Hayden. I realized that Emily has a new "friend" named Austin. As the night went on, Austin was everywhere that Emily was; playing party in our room, eating dinner, watching a movie before bed. When I kissed Emily good night, I had to kiss Austin good night too. Do all kids have imaginary friends?

Happy Birthday to Me

Its the big 29, my last year as a 20's. I will be spending it at the Covered Bridge Festival, look out pumpkin ice cream and fried turkey legs.

On Wednesday after work, Emily and I went to get pumpkins. This was my favorite thing to do with her last year. This year she wasn's nearly as excited about the pumpkins. Maybe it was because there wasn't any pumpkins in the "patch" to pick, we had to just pick from the piles. Of course, piggy went along, cant leave home without him.

Emily and Hayden

Last night she decided to push him in her room to play after dinner. I was a little worried about what was going on, so I snuck in. She was dressing him up in her jewels and taking pictures with her new fisher price camera. Hank would be so proud.

Emily hasn't exactly been excited about playing with Hayden. I was fortunate enough to get a picture of their first play time together. She was offering him her piggy, HUGE for her.

Hayden

Hayden and Aunt Janice. So far, this is my favorite picture of him.

Hayden and Nana Suzy at Ryan's party

I thought that I should include some pictures of Hayden, I didnt mean to leave him out of the blog, its just the second child syndrome. He is cutting teeth now, so he isnt nearly this happy. Still, he is a great kid, a mama's boy. He is just what I wanted.

Happy lonely anniversary to me.

My 4th anniversary is today. Looking back, Hank and I have accomplished so much in 4 years, its amazing.

Is this what my kids are thinking?

Between the work work, homework, e-mail, and now BLOG; I wonder if my kids are thinking this. Days like yesterday, it feels like they are ganging up on me.

Can you believe that this is a trany, wish I looked this good!!
Dirty, Sexy, Money; Wednesday 8:00

Grey's Anatomy; Thursday 8:00

Okay, if any of you don't know, I am a HUGE Greys Anatomy fan. I cant miss it, I put the kid-os to bed early and demand silence every Thursday night. I have even went as far as to buy the soundtracks (by the way, they are awesome!!). But, I am disappointed in this season, I miss Burke. I don't think that there is much direction, where is everything going. Maybe there was too much hype in the beginning and now it is fizzling out. Enter Dirty, Sexy, Money. Thank goodness for this new smutty show, its great. Just a small taste for you; the Baldwin brother, who plays a state representative, or something like that, is having an affair with a transvestite. Can you get any better than that. Check it out on Wednesday nights, right after the dismal Private Practice, (boring).

I gave in to the daycare dilemma. Emily started last week, the day after her birthday. By Friday, she was sick. I knew she would, I wasnt expecting it to be so soon. She loved the first 2 days, now she cries every morning. She keeps telling me that there are too many kids there. WHAT?!? We will see how it goes, I am not making any promises.

Emily Turned 3

On 09/24 Emily turned 3. She has grown so much in the last year, I think that Hayden has a lot to do with it. Hank was not home for the party, so we took LOTS of pics. Emily got a Dance with Dora kit, maracas included. She loves it, I want to shove the maracas in bad places.

Its not like I need anything else to do, but I am jumping on the bandwagon. I have my laptop, my palm, my zip drives; why not a blog. Just to think that I was hardly able to navigate the net a year ago, and now look at me. I am a blogger. I have to get on my space next. Hope you find this enlightening, or just amusing. It will give Hank something to do when he is laid off, look out Chad Farley.
